Do you keep copies of my personal information?
No, we do not. The information that you enter on our website is only used to produce your tax return file for download and are not saved into any of our files, except the actual tax return file that you will be downloading. Any links to the tax return file produced from your input will not be shared with anyone else. Your tax return file will be automatically deleted after a set amount of time, so you should download it immediately. Due to this secure process, if you lose the tax return file that you paid for and received from CNMITax.com, we cannot send you another copy, because we won't have it either. Download it right away and keep it safe!
Do you keep records of my credit card information?
No, we do not. We don't process payments directly. Instead, we depend on PayPal to securely process your payments. When you enter your payment information on our website, all of it goes to PayPal, and not to any of our own files. PayPal is one of the largest, most established US-based payment processors, so we believe that your information will be safe there.

Never give your credit card number, card expiration date, CVV code or PIN number to anyone by email or phone, because that is very insecure, and we will never need nor ask for it by email or phone.

Any and all payments will be only be received securely through our website: https://cnmitax.com or https://www.cnmitax.com
What is your refund policy?
Refund Policy

We strive to provide users with accurate and reliable tax calculations. However, we understand that mistakes can happen, and we want to make sure that our customers are satisfied with our services. Therefore, we offer the following refund policy:

If you discover a tax calculation error in the file that you paid for and received through CNMITax.com, and that results in you filing an amendment to correct it, we will refund you up to the amount you paid us at CNMITax.com for the individual tax return in question. Please note that we will only issue refunds in cases where our website's calculations were incorrect despite the user's correct selection and entry of information. If the user enters information into the wrong places, or enters information that he or she believes to be correct but turns out to be wrong, that is the sole responsibility of the user, and refunds cannot be issued in such cases.

It's important to note that we are not acting as your tax preparer on this website. Instead, we are helping you prepare your own taxes by providing automated tax calculations based on the information that you enter into our website. Hence, you must make your own determinations on important matters such as whether you, your spouse and/or your dependents are qualified and eligible for the Earned Income Credit (EIC), or which, if any, of your Dependents are considered qualified or eligible for the Child Tax Credit and/or the Other Dependents Credit, or whether they can be considered Dependents at all. We provide links to IRS webpages that can help you make these determinations yourself during the information-entry process.

Please also note that we do not offer refunds for any amendments you file due to changes in tax laws or regulations that occur after you have produced and paid for your particular tax file at CNMITax.com, or for other situations arising from circumstances beyond our control.

To request a refund, you must email your refund request to support@cnmitax.com within 30 days of discovering the error, or within 80 days from the time that you paid for the tax file that you received, whichever is sooner. We will review your request and issue a refund if we determine that the tax calculations in the file that you paid for and received from CNMITax.com were indeed incorrect. Your refund request must contain your receipt number so we can locate and verify your payment, as well as the details and evidence of the errors you discovered including when and how you discovered them and the details of your amendment filing, as well as when and how much you paid on CNMITax.com to receive your tax file, and you must attach that same tax file to the refund request email, so that we can verify your request. You must email us from the same email address that you used when you paid for and received your tax return file from CNMITax.com. Any refunds will be issued to the credit card that you had originally used to make payment on CNMITax.com -- please note that this credit card must belong to the taxpayer, spouse or one of the dependents included in that same, particular tax file produced as a result of that payment, or else we will not be able to verify or process your refund request.

Never give your credit card number, card expiration date, CVV code or PIN number to anyone by email or phone, because that is very insecure, and we will never need nor ask for it while processing or issuing your refund.

Thank you for choosing CNMITax.com to prepare your tax return. If you have any questions or concerns about our refund policy, please feel free to contact us at support@cnmitax.com.
